Introduction
Carpe Diem has been loved dearly, cruising the Bahamas/Exumas on a regular basis. She has all the comfort for a live aboard and fuel efficiency to cruise economically. This classic design has changed little over the years and is a very popular model. With a fully enclosed bridge deck and bimini over the aft deck there are plenty of comfortable areas to enjoy. An Avon 10 4"RIB tender is located on davits off the stern for easy deployment and retrieval. Accommodations
Salon The salon has a door to starboard opening to side deck. The steering station is to starboard forward with the ships 12 and 110 volt electrical panels and other electrical panels at the helm area.Just aft of the helm to starboard is a bar cabinet with a fold-up top and bottle storage. A Sony Radio and CD Player are in the cabinet. There are speakers in the salon and bridgeIn the Salon there is a port settee and an L-shaped settee on the starboard side.There in a Grand Banks fixed teak drop-leaf dining table.GalleyThe galley is across to port with an Alden Barber Refrigerator, Force 10 three burner gas stove with oven, a Panasonic microwave oven, and stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, with a cutting board sink cover, giving more counter top space. The Alden Barber Refrigerator has a small freezer with ice trays. There is ample storage for food and galley ware. Master Cabin (aft)Aft of the salon and down three steps is the master cabin with a two twin berths on the port and starboard. There is a Grand Banks teak chest of drawers located on the centerline and there are storage drawers beneath each berth. An exit from the owner's stateroom to the aft deck is just aft to port with a companionway. There are removable teak steps that can be used.The owners head has a Groco marine toilet, solid surface vanity with sink, a Storage for toiletries. Guest Cabin V Berth (fwd) This vessel has a private, air-conditioned forward cabin with V-berth, large hanging locker, lots of storage drawers. An overhead hatch provides ventilation, and two side windows provide plenty of light. There is a guest head with a Groco marine toilet, solid surface vanity with sink, and shower; plus storage for toiletries. A privacy door leads aft to the salon.
